Over her twenty years in the interior design field, Ms. Davenport’s philosophy on design has not changed. Her commitment to designing spaces that reflect the personalities of her clients is her never ending goal.

Ms. Davenport studied at Connecticut’s Paier College of Art where she won numerous monetary awards for her interior designs. Ms. Davenport has been affiliated with ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) since 1996 and carries a designation of that society.

Lisa Davenport resides in nearby Durham, CT with her husband and two children. Her small town roots and close family ties keep her firmly planted. Lisa prides herself on her ability to translate those intimate family feelings through her designs.

Ed Richman is co-founder and partner at the firm. Ed has a long history of business and investment acumen, which helps enable the firm to move quickly and maintain a state of the art position in the design field. Mr. Richman is an entrepreneur whom has developed and managed many businesses into successful forces in each of their prospective fields. Mr. Richman along with his current business partner and lead Designer, Lisa Davenport, have successfully set a new standard in the Interior Design industry which is worthy of emulation.

Dorothy joined our team in 2002. She came to us with a BA in Interior Design with a focus on construction principles and fine arts. Dorothy also had significant retail experience. Her warm affect and good nature compliment her ability to put together a comprehensive and coordinated Design package for our clients. She has a good eye for color and pattern coordination and understands composition well. She has acquired extensive knowledge of fine furniture, rugs and accessories. Dorothy moved from an assistant level Designer to a Staff Designer working autonomously with her own clients. Dorothy continues to work together with Lisa Davenport and other Team designers when a larger coordinated effort is needed to complete a large design project. Allyson joined our team in 2007. She came to the firm with a BA in Business with an emphasis on Interior design. With a solid back round in retail, Allyson also has extensive knowledge in fabrics, drapery treatments and good technical knowledge about window blinds. Allyson was hired to help fill a void after one of our long time staff designers left the firm. We did not expect Allyson to fill the shoes of someone with that much experience, but her motivation and willingness to learn has moved her along more quickly than other assistants of the past. Allyson has a very pleasant personality and goes out of her way to satisfy clients. She routinely assists Lisa Davenport on large projects boasting good organizational skills and talent in the design field. Lisa Davenport's Home Gallery is proud to have Allyson as a Team member.
